Your Tutor: Amanda Luker, AAPS
Amanda has a background in textile art, law, criminology, finance, investment and conveyancing.
Upon her retirement, she took on the challenge of completing a Diploma in photography, as that pursuit had been her passion for many years.
In 2018, she joined the Edwardstown Photography Club, where she remains a dedicated member. She enjoys competition and has received awards from both Australia and overseas. In 2021, Amanda won Print of the Year at the SAPF annual exhibition, and in the following year, the People's Choice Best Digital Image award.
Her real passion is sharing and teaching the skills she has acquired over the years. She regularly presents lectures and workshops in a range of genres, including black and white photography, intentional camera movement, panning photography and creative photography.
