Making Friends with your Flash 13th and 20th June
Location: Gartrell Church Hall, Cnr Alexandra Avenue and Prescott Terrace, Rose Park
Time: 12:30 pm - 4 pm
There are many creative possibilities when using a flash. It produces a quick burst of light to illuminate a scene or subject, adding brightness when conditions are too dark. It is excellent for portraiture as well as tabletop photography.
Many photographers own a flash yet feel intimidated by the concepts involved—often discouraged by early results such as overexposed images or red-eye. This workshop is designed to remove the fear from using flash and to build your confidence with this essential tool. The focus is on practical skill development and hands-on learning.
