Focused Newsletter March 2023

2023 is off to a pretty good start. Feedback from clubs is that meetings held thus far have been very well supported, with entries and attendances getting back to pre-covid numbers. Please remember to be kind to your judges and aim to keep entries to around 100 max.

2023 AGM NEWS

The AGM was well attended. The addition of a guest speaker, Peter Knights, added something to the evening. Peter, a motorsport photographer, gave us an insight into his journey and had several enquiries immediately after the meeting about attending club nights to share his story again, which is a testament to the quality of the presentation.

On behalf of the SAPF Management Committee, I wish you all a safe, joyous and peaceful Christmas and a Happy and Prosperous New Year.

You may have heard on the grapevine, that SAPF President Ross Pollock resigned from the management committee (MC), effective from September 1st, 2022. He has also resigned as President of the Eastern Suburbs Camera Club. Ross was hoping his company’s contract would last a couple more years and planned to retire to the West Coast in 2025.
